Whoever said cats and dogs can’t get along has never met Kiki the cat and his Shiba Inu siblings!
The adorable trio, Saki, Ibuki, and Hazuki, have been living a happy, content life with their family in Japan. They had no idea that a cat would make their lives complete.
The dog trio’s mom had previously owned a cat, so she wanted to bring one home. Her husband had to be convinced first, though.
Eventually, they decided on an American Shorthair, a cat breed that tends to get along well with dogs.
But they were still amazed at how quickly Kiki fit in perfectly with the group!
They have since developed a special bond. Kiki is definitely part of the pack!
The adorable pack have become inseparable — they do everything together!
They’ve even started to look and act like one another!
Their mom found out just how special their bond is during a Shiba Inu party back in February.
She told Bored Panda, “Kiki was getting along with all the dogs just fine, but one of them suddenly started barking at him. Immediately, one of our Shibas, Saki, barked back, protecting Kiki. At that point, I understood they’ve become true companions.”
It’s amazing just how easily they have grown to love and care for each other!
Their relationship as siblings is truly one to strive for.
