Isn’t it possible for dogs and cats to coexist? Sometimes they can, and other times, well, one of them simply isn’t interested in what the other is doing. And when one German Shepherd attempted to give a “lovely”, dog-typical, yet personal greeting to the family cat, he didn’t receive the reply he expected from the feline. The interaction between the dog and the cat was caught on camera, and the dog’s brilliant response to the cat had the dog’s mother in giggles.

TikTok user @josiekjemhus uploaded the video on social media, and it has already received 1.4 million views. These two may not be the best buddies, but their interaction is quite interesting for sure! With the caption, “Sometimes he’s just too smart,” watch what this German Shepherd does to express his displeasure with the cat.

The dog was obviously annoyed that the cat didn’t respond to his greeting, but it’s the cat’s face and how it reacted after the dog knocked the pillow over her that makes this clip so much funnier.
