When your favorite song comes on you simply have to sing along, right? There’s one dog who has the same reaction! His name is Hugo the “Opera Dog.”
The golden retriever got the nickname after his mom, Victoria Fox, captured the pup’s vocal chops on video shared it on social media. Hugo obviously loves to watch opera performances, singing along with his own distinct howl.
“Hugo’s passion is listening and singing to opera,” Victoria says in the description of one video. “As soon as he hears the music he stops what he is doing.”
Now that Christmas is just around the corner, Hugo’s latest performances are holiday songs.
Hugo simply has a classy taste in music. His favorite opera singers include Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Russell Watson, Sarah Brightman, and The Three Tenors.
The 1-year-old dog likes singing along (or howling along) to traditional Christmas carols like “White Christmas” and “Jingle Bells.”
Hugo’s talent is undeniable… and his cuteness is overflowing especially when he wears his little Santa hat that’s attached to his collar. Maybe next time, he’d be wearing a Christmas sweater or a pair of holiday pajamas.
