  • In the videos that have gone viral, a kitty is shown sleeping peacefully in the bed of her dog sibling.
  • Not wanting to disturb the cat, the dog tries to sleep on the kitty’s bed which is too small for her.
  • The videos show that Kitty paralysis is real and the only thing to do is wait it out until the kitty awakens and moves.

What is Kitty paralysis?

Kitty Paralysis is a condition when you cannot move because a cat is sleeping on your lap. A subset would be, a cat is on your chair, couch, or bed and you are scared to move them or just do not want to disturb its peaceful position.  And so, what can you do?

Doing the rounds on the net are two videos on TikTok of the pittie doggo Zara and the cat Amora that show a classic example of Kitty Paralysis. The videos have gained nearly 4 million views.

Zara is in need of a nap but there, sprawled in the middle of her bed and sleeping peacefully, is her calico kitty sister, Amora.  The bed is three times bigger than the feline.  And even if Zara is much bigger than Amora, she is such a sweet girl that she does not want to disturb Amora.  So, left with no choice, she tries to sleep in Amora’s tiny bed.

Looking at Zara’s face trying to make do with the tiny bed while comparing it to her real big bed, you would think that she would be uncomfortable. She is.  But what can she do? She won’t disturb the peace, would she?

@zara_pitt Cabe direitinho 😄😂 #fy#foryou#pravc#trend#comedia#meme#humorbr#humor#challenge#pitbull#tiktok#virall#vaiprofy#dog#animais#foryoupage#fyp#rir#cama#pet#dogsoftiktok#sono#foru ♬ som original – Zara

But cats, being the diva that they are, leaves Zara with no other option but to wait for her feline sister to wake up and move so she can finally sleep comfortably in her bed—  Maintaining peace is a much better option than getting involved in a bed war.

Yup, Kitty paralysis is real.
