First, he doesn’t greet his furry patients with a scary needle right off the bat. He plays with them and gets them excited by offering them treats!
And when the pup is happily enjoying his treat, he gives them the shot without them even knowing it or feeling it.
The furry patients leave his office happy and energized, instead of feeling traumatized. They may even think that they just visited a friend for some quick playtime!
Santos shared, “Whenever we do a procedure, we should give a positive treat.”
