Kind-Hearted Customers Leave Servers Huge Tips for the Holidays [Video]

Servers at various restaurants got huge tips from groups of customers who wanted to give them something special for the holiday season.

1. Rachel Barney from Cracker Barrel, San Antonio got a $1,300 tip.

Kevin Nies and his wife have an annual tradition called “Christmas Tip the Waitress,” during which they break fast with a group of friends and “change someone’s life for a day.”

More than 20 people showed up this year and tipped a total of $1,300 on a $270 bill. Their waitress, Rachel, is “a single mother of 2 teenagers with no family in Texas,” Kevin shared.

They hope that by sharing it on social media, it will inspire more people to do the same.

A group of 19 friends had breakfast at IHOP and each left a $100 tip for their waitress, Rosa.

3. Roxana Salinas from Silver Diner, Columbia, Maryland got a $910 tip.

Roxana shared that she teared up when she received a $910 tip on a $25 bill.

4. Ashley Sadler from Ocean Springs, Mississippi got a $2,200 tip.

A group of 20 people each tipped their waitress $200, while two other people who couldn’t come sent $200 donations each. They said that they wanted to “do something big that would change Christmas for their waitress”.

Ashley spread the blessing and shared the money with the rest of the staff. She was still left with $920, which she said will be spent on her kids.
