So when the community rallied to help him buy a new scooter, he made sure to pay it forward!
Kenny is no longer able to walk long distances since he has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. So he gets around his hometown of Willernie, Minnesota, on his beloved mobility scooter, which is decorated with U.S. flags.
Sadly, his scooter broke down one day, and was too old to repair. He was heartbroken!
So his friends shared his predicament on TikTok, and within 24 hours, strangers donated more than enough money. Kenny can now afford a top-of-the-line brand new scooter!
When he received the good news, he couldn’t believe it! He was overwhelmed with emotion.
When he learned that he received too much money for just one scooter, he decided to enlist his friends’ help to pay it forward.
So they started a GoFundMe page to raise money to get mobility scooters to 25 veterans in need.
More than $29,000 have been raised by over 200 donors since!
The lovable Kenny was filled with gratitude and wanted others to feel the same! It was generous of him to pay the kindness forward.
