Kim Murstein, a 30-year-old New Yorker, moved in with her grandmother, Gail Rudnick, 80, in Florida during the pandemic.

They realized the differences in dating rules between their generations and started a podcast called “Excuse My Grandma” where they share life tips that stand the test of time.

Their social media platforms have since taken off with over 400,000 TikTok followers and 170,000 Instagram followers.

While they disagree on the number of dates before deciding on a serious relationship, they both emphasize the importance of not seeking perfection and having fun.

Despite their differences, they have a close relationship and work together on the podcast.
