• Ginger is one Christmas-loving cat who loves spending time under the sparkling lights of the Christmas tree.
• The tree can’t be up all year, however, so she always misses it.
• So her mom decided to get her a special space capsule for her to chill in while the tree is away.

The holiday season just gets Ginger the cat so excited. All the cheery lights and decorations in the Christmas tree simply make her happy! The tree has become her most favorite thing.

Her mom, Sara Taylor, told The Dodo, “She loves how everything sparkles and lights up.”

Unlike most cats, Ginger is “very gentle and not destructive at all,” Sara added.

Her favorite place to chill in is under the tree, which led her family to call her “a ‘beautiful gift.’” 

Unfortunately, the holiday season always comes to an end. Whenever the tree gets taken away, the Christmas-loving Ginger keeps going back to the tree’s previous location. She always wonders where it went!

Ginger’s mood worsens when she realizes the tree is gone, but Sara couldn’t keep the tree up all year.

Sara said, “It made me sad when I realized she missed it so much. So this year I decided I would replace it with something special.”

Instead of giving Ginger a different kind of tree or a toy, Sara got her a space capsule to chill in!

The curious cat watched as Sara set it up. And when it was finished, Ginger gladly accepted it as a replacement for her beloved tree.

“It didn’t take long for her to want to explore it once it was ready and now she sits in it daily,” Sara shared. “She loves it!”

Ginger may still miss her Christmas tree, but the space capsule has certainly cheered her up. It has become her favorite nook now — that is, until next Christmas when her beloved tree returns.
